Warrantless cell phone searches legal in Mississippi

Um excuse me but last I checked we had the Fourth Amendment the right against illegal searches and seizures of our papers and effects. What happened? Where did we go so wrong that we have allowed our liberty to be restrained so much? Why do we put up with this? Why don't we fight back on the street against injustice caused by our lawmakers (rulers) and their orders carried out by their police (enforcers)?

That's what we have become. Three classes here, the rulers, the enforcers, and the subjects. There is no more white, black, Asian, middle, upper, lower, etc anymore just the rulers, their lackeys, and us.

Cops on the street may tell you that their job is dangerous and I agree with them. I can't imagine the thoughts of their wives when they leave home for work every day wondering if they are going to encounter someone with the guts to not be oppressed. I'm not saying all cops are bad but I am saying is they have their marching orders and either they go along or they find another line of work and become a target themselves.

Mississippi allows the search of your cell phone without a warrant. This easy email letter asks your legislator to introduce a bill in 2014 to provide cell phone privacy.

How to complete the form:
Complete your name and address. No spam will result from providing your email except one that you may share if you like.

If the computer can't find your address, enter a nearby street until it shows your representatives' photographs.

You don't have to type your name to sign it. The program uses your name from the address field you completed.

If you have time, change message or change the subject line, so all letters aren't the same.

Are we really free?

You know all day I have been watching documentaries and I just finished one on The Revolutionary War. We pitched a fit when King George III passed The Stamp Act in 1763. We pitched tea in the Boston Harbor in 1773. We Fought for 7 years from 1776 to 1783 and in 1787 finally founded a Constitution to keep a centralized yet small government as well as give We The People a Bill of Rights. Those essential liberties guaranteed to us in the Bill of Rights have been under attack for over a century.

The Federal Reserve Act in 1913 which is what Andrew Jackson fought against a little less than a century earlier. in 1929 it caused the Great Depression. The Second amendment the right to keep and bear arms was fought in 1968 by requiring registering of arms. The Patriot act of 2002 basically took away our rights against illegal search and seizure in the name of "National Security". There's several more encroachments or all out dissolution of our original Bill of Rights that I could mention and go on all night but the point I am trying to make is have we been so conditioned to accept whatever the news media and MTV tells us instead of having the fortitude of great men like Paul Revere, Patrick Henry, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, and millions of others who have spilled their blood both here and on foreign soil for our freedoms? Why are we afraid to stand up in the face of tyranny? Why is it that I don't see very many people that I have on my Facebook screaming at what they are seeing? Why is it that my friends are not screaming on the phone in the ears of their congressmen? Why is it that we are so brainwashed that we feel that we have no more say in our government and we should just give up? I'm not at the moment advocating taking up arms (not saying I would be opposed to it either) but I am saying that if you are feeling as oppressed as I am then by god DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!!! Oh when you think about freedoms think about this. It is illegal now under federal law to protest in any place that the President of the United States is speaking. So if you have a local event and Obama is going you will be arrested under Federal Law if you protest, demonstrate, or picket. IS THIS THE AMERICA THAT THEY BUILT IN THE STATE HOUSE IN PHILADELPHIA IN 1787? IS THIS WHAT THE FOUNDERS AND FOREFATHERS ENVISIONED WHEN THEY SAID FREEDOM TO ASSEMBLE, FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF THE PRESS??? I have to ask permission from the Government to add on to my house, open a business, own a firearm, drive a car, drive a boat, pilot a plane, sell produce that I may grow, etc. We are allegedly the freest nation in the world yet we have more people per capita in prison and we have a law for literally everything we do in our daily life from buying food to sleeping with our wife. Is this freedom or is this tyranny? Is this liberty or is this oppression? Feel free to leave your thoughts.
