Ferguson, Missouri Police Department

There has been a lot of talk about the out of control police state in this country. The more I look around the more I see it. Under Posse Comitatus it is illegal to send the military after civilians so they militarize the police. It's a loophole that makes it possible for agents of the Department of Homeland Security as well as your local law enforcement, sheriffs department, highway patrol, etc to obtain military grade gear, military vehicles, body armor, M-16s, M-4s, and military style training. Now add that with the fact that most (not all) police officers are automatically wanting to call you guilty. They are so on edge due to their indoctrination at training that they want to already convict and sentence you on the spot. We as citizens are supposed to shut up and not resist unlawful orders.

This kid in Ferguson, Missouri was suspected of a crime. He was a young black kid in a neighborhood of St Louis (probably one of the shittiest areas in the world to live in) and he defied the orders of the police. The police shot and killed this kid. He was 18 years old and his life was extinguished by an over zealous nut with a gun. He was given a death sentence because he "resisted arrest" (maybe he was being a smartass or maybe he just wasn't moving fast enough for the cop).

Now we fast forward to the protestors. Yes if the cops here in Biloxi (which I thank god that they are very well trained and most are very polite and professional) shot some unarmed kid and killed him I would be pissed off and raising 9 kinds of hell. The cops in Ferguson, Missouri are arresting the press. Why? Because the press gives a dissenting views. This is unacceptable on all levels. Our fundamental rights are being trampled on because the cops in that town are trying to "maintain law and order".

Let's be clear I don't give a shit about your law and order when you become tyrannical. When Tyranny becomes law revolution becomes duty. When you try to use force against people who don't like you and demand that they respect your authority after you just shot some kid you get what you deserve. I'm not saying I advocate the attitude of killing cops but I most certainly do advocate if you see a cop shoot an unarmed kid his badge is worthless and you should defend that person and your community.

Your safety doesn't trump my civil rights. If you feel that unsafe at your job then find another line of work. You can not recall a bullet. You can not unkill someone. You can not give life to a person whom you have deprived it from. Once someone is dead they stay dead.
